Geralyn Keely | Artistic Director

It is with great anticipation that I accept the position of Artistic Director of the New Jersey State Children’s Chorus. I am anxious to meet our young singers, feel their energy, explore their talents, and allow them to experience the magic of choral music. To give them the gifts that were given to me as a young singer—the skills and opportunity to sing quality music. Singing in a choir is a life changing experience. It is a passageway to a higher dimension. It is an opportunity not only to discover the beauty of one’s own voice but to understand how one voice becomes an integral part of a much greater experience. It is an experience of belonging, teamwork, beauty, and joy. As Artistic Director I will always provide each child with a positive musical experience that will include expert vocal development, quality choral music, encouragement and most importantly, respect for the unique soul of every young singer. Every voice makes a difference!
